Grocery Stores & Markets

The Capital Region offers many markets specializing in specific ethnic cuisines! We've gathered information about some of these businesses with the goal of keeping them within 45 min. of the ÌÇÐÄVlog campus. However, there are lots of options not listed here. If you have something you want added to this list as a resource or a recommendation, please contact Hillary Montague-Asp, Director of Student Diversity and Inclusion. We also know that cultures and cuisines are intersectional and don't fit neatly into individual categories. For example, many of the halal markets listed below could also go under the "Mediterranean and Middle Eastern" category.  We've done our best to categorize the grocery stores and markets below in ways that are useful. If there are other methods of categorization you think would be more useful, please let us know, we would be happy to reorganize!
